- Thank you for a wonderful week of elk hunting with archery equipment. I have dreamt of this trip for seventeen years. All those dreams came true on 9/19/09 with a beautiful 5 X 5. - From the Arctic Circle to South Africa, this was the most physically demanding hunt I’ve ever been on. It was humbling, but perseverance, tenacity, will power, and great guides made this trip culminate with one shot at 280 yards on a nice 6 X 5 bull. Brad is magical, and he and his whole family were gratefully appreciated. Great kids. Thanks, Brenda for the great food, also. My gratitude to all from Burris. - This year was bearly acceptable. Thanks for such a great time. This year was exceptional. Great bulls, great food, great companionship, and long hunting friends. 6 out of 8 bulls 5 X 6 or better! What a great year. Also the bear was the icing on the cake. Thanks so much for arranging everything. We at Burris are so happy to be part of your family. - It was a true pleasure spending time with ya’ll. I don’t find many people I would love to spend more time with. I think if we lived closer we would stay in trouble with our wives as we would stay in the stream or on the mountain somewhere. Whether we’re shooting 1151 meters (1259 yards) or shooting across only one ridge at 450 m. Nothing long, but sometimes the hunt is what it is all about. With that said I treasure the moments of my life I have spent with you on the mountain and in the cabin. Life is about the memories you make with friends and life experiences. I have several now that I will treasure with ya’ll being integral part of. I really enjoyed your family. The kids are awesome. I wish we lived closer to where we could spend time together often.
