Some more comments from people who hunted with us in 2005.
- To sum it all up in one sentence great hunt, good weather, plenty of elk and the best company. Enjoyed the stay and learned a lot about hunting elk in thisarea. Look forward to our next hunt. - John McCarty, President Burris Optics, October 2005.
- A really beautiful place. Our group had a wonderful visit. The elk hunting was excellent so long as your not allergic to some altitude and can handle some longer shots. We filled six elk tags in 2 ¼ days with all of them bringing five points. Staying out all day, I saw a lot of elk each day. It’s not easy hunting, but full of excitement, beauty, and exercise… - Patrick Beckett, Vice President Burris Optics, October 2005.
- Thank you for the “Southern” hospitality and great hunting in some beautiful country. What a Wonderful place to field test the new .338 Federal Cartridge and talk great Burris Scopes. I will return!! - Layne Simpson, Outdoor Writer, Shooting Times, October 2005.
- This must be one of the Finest ranches in Colorado. Hope to get back and do it again some time… - Lee J. Hoots, Editor Guns and Ammo, October 2005.
- Brad & Brenda, You live in a great land with lots of elk and trout. Both were most cooperative during my visit. And elk and trout share a common interest – living in scenic lands. It was a pleasure to meet you and your family. Thanks for making this a great hunting adventure. - Mike Faw, Field Editor Sports Afield, October 2005.

- There isn’t a single word to describe this experience but I think that the poem we came up with suits the situation; Begin the day, end the day, with elk in the cross-hair. I can’t say thanks enough. I will never forget. - Jon P. Sokol, October 2005.
