Brad Carnahan grew up on the Knott ranch. He was tagging along on elk hunts since he was a small kid, and knows elk and the property. He has hunted with bows and rifles all over the country, from right at home on the Knott ranch, to the mountains of Hawaii. Turkey and deer in Kansas, mountain goats and bighorn sheep in the high country of Colorado; Brad has hunted it, and gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. When it comes to elk, Brads nearly lifetime experience of elk hunting has given him an almost uncanny knack for knowing where the elk are, and where they are going. He has taken over 30 elk with a bow, and about that many more elk with a rifle. His calling skills are phenomenal; his hunters have been known to confuse him with the elk. As friendly as he is professional, Brad is a first rate master guide, and knows the elements of an enjoyable and successful hunt, not only the elk, but the entire experience.
Brenda Carnahan took up hunting with Brad shortly after they were married. She is an accomplished rifle and bow hunter, and a top notch cook. Brenda runs the elk camp, and knows from first hand experience the ins and outs of elk hunting, and what hunters need to succeed.
